Important Notes for a Safe and Fun Event

  • This is NOT a drop-off activity. All Scouts must be accompanied by a parent or supervised by a Pack-approved registered adult.
  • Adult Coordinator Required. Each Pack must designate an adult coordinator for each session (morning and afternoon) to check in, lead their Pack, and coordinate participation.

ATTENTION PARENTS -- AVOID DOUBLE REGISTRATION

  •  Youth and adults can register as a Pack (preferred) or as individuals.
  • Parents -- before registering as an individual, check with your Pack or Den Leader to confirm whether your Pack is registering together.
  • No refunds for duplicate registrations.

Special Programs:

  • Polar Bear Winter Folklore Contest: Winter folklore comes to life on February 1st at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center celebrating winter legends through engaging, hands-on activities. We’re inviting Scouts to channel their creativity by writing or drawing their very own winter-themed legend or folklore story. Imagine magical snow giants, enchanting ice fairies, or wise, talking polar bears brought to life through words or art! Entry form found in the Leader Parent Guide and separately under the Resources Tab.

  • Arrow of Light (AOL) Scouts (5th grade) Polar Bear Program -- The goal is to celebrate our AOL Scouts, reengage those who’ve fallen behind, and help Packs send Scouts crossing over to troops! Special Presentation -- Spirit of the Eagle Feather Award -- Arrow of Light Scouts will be honored with the Spirit of the Eagle Feather Award, a recognition of their achievements as they prepare to transition into Scouts BSA.
