Scouting America’s Paddle Craft Safety Course trains leaders and participants to safely conduct canoeing and kayaking activities. The course covers paddling skills, rescue techniques, safety procedures, risk management, equipment use, and emergency response through classroom and hands-on instruction. Participants gain the confidence and knowledge needed to lead safe, fun, and successful flatwater paddle sports programs following Scouting America safety standards. Lunch is included.
