Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, there's something for everyone: Casual Chess Play, Tournaments, Cub Scout play and more. This event is open to Scouts and youth from grades 1 to 12, so mark your calendars and get ready to make your move towards victory!

Event Highlights

Casual Chess Play (10 AM–3 PM) – Drop in anytime for friendly, non-competitive games.
Chess Tournament (1–3 PM) – Compete for the title of Top Chess Player!
Scouts BSA Chess Merit Badge (10 AM–Noon) – Complete all requirements with experienced instructors. Open to non-scouts to learn the game.
Cub Scout Chess Quest (1st–5th grade, 10 AM–Noon) – “Learn, Play, Have Fun!” A playful introduction to chess.

Lunch is not included in the fee and may be purchased at one of the mall’s eateries.
